Christmas is a special time in Little Italy, San Diego. There are 18+ blocks of holiday lights–the Italian stores are decorated with care. We will start with a savory holiday lunch at the historic Filippi's on India St. (oldest restaurant in Little Italy SD) Continue on to Little Italy's Museum, we will have a Christmas musical serenade by the great Lou Fanucchi. Fabulous PowerPoint presentation on Italian Christmas Traditions by our cultural/travel expert from Italy–the lovely Laura. Stop at Little Italy's historic church to view their life sized nativity scene. Quick visit to Our Lady's Gifts store on the grounds of the historic Italian church for unique holiday shopping. Free time for browsing at Little Italy's Italian grocery stores, bread bakery & pastry shops Before they leave, guests get to see Little Italy's Christmas tree all lit up!
