With only her tap shoes and her dream, Peggy is able to catch the eye of legendary Broadway director Julian Marsh and land a spot in his upcoming production, Pretty Lady. As the new girl in the chorus line, Peggy is quickly singled out by the show’s lead, Dorothy Brock. But when Dorothy is injured in the show’s preview, Pretty Lady needs a new lead.
